Professional Since 2015
Pyrotechnics is a Kenyan company and licensed dealer in explosives for civil works by the Ministry of Mining. We have offices, storage facilities and licensed magazines in in Vipingo, Kilifi County, Athi river, Machakos County and , Voi, Taita Taveta County. Our products are imported from companies with high standards of quality in the manufacturing process from factories in India, China, Korea, Russia, Sweden, South Africa, and Egypt.
In 2015, we introduced a revolutionary new product into the Kenya market known as AUTOSTEM, a NON-DETONATING explosives with no resultant shock waves.
Globally, Autostem is recognized as a unique product with the United Nations ranking it amongst the safest blasting solution.
Pyrotechnics are the sole agents for Autostem in East & Central Africa and have conducted demonstrations at various sites in the country

Ajit Tatwadi
Ajit Tatwadi who is a mining expert having graduated in mining with a BE in Mining Technology currently works at IDL Explosives Limited with wide experience in mining services associate and management and technical services . He has previously worked with Solar Industries in India and Tanzania as well as Premier Explosives Limited (India) as a mining associate. Ajit has been involved in drilling and blasting projects around the world.
Japheth Kerui (TREMCO SERVICES)
Is our in house highly qualified and registered engineer also has worked with many organizations, individuals, cooperates, government institutions especially in partnership with the Ministry of Mines and Geology. He has been in this industry for over 15 years and he has a Diploma in Blasting Engineering.
Vincent Rono
Vincent Rono who is a highly qualified registered engineer and has worked with a number of professional entities on key projects involving drilling. These include the Road rehabilitation projects and Water Supply Works. Currently, he is involved in the ongoing Northern Collector Tunnel Phase 1 at Muranga
